Oxycodone Got Wet

I am prescribed 30mg oxycodone 3 times per day. A few got damp and I need to know if they will still be effective and if they are ok to take?

If they just got damp, they should be fine, though a little of the medication may have dissolved. However, I'd suggest double checking with your doctor or pharmacist.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

So I put my oxycodone 30mg pills in my cupholder, didn't realize it was wet and my pills blew up but kept their shape and color. I think they're just slightly waterlogged. Are they okay to take? Will they still work?

Why does the oxycodone 5mg T 192 turn blue when wet? Is this for people who abuse painkillers? Or is this something the manufacturer adds to pain medication to prove they're real?

It's to deter abuse. They also will gel up when you add water.

I take Oxycodone (10/325) and 17 pills got wet, but none have the markings on them. I am so worried about the pill count from my doctor. What happens if he doesn’t believe that they're my pills?
