I'm willing to travel the 60 miles in any direction as long as the doctor is relatively easy to deal with. I suffer from. Back pain.

I was hit by a drunk driver 10 yrs. ago. 8 yrs ago I had to have a spinal fusion. He said the S-1 nerve was damaged also. I had to leave both of my jobs. My partner found me a primary care dr. who would take care of me needs . I have been on Norco 10/325 in addition to fentanyl patches 100 mcg. every 72 hrs. Now my Dr. wants me to go to pain mgmt. she refuses to handle my pain needs. Every place I called was too expensive or only used injections. They do not work. can u help? My partner has passed away and I am having a hard time doing things alone.

Hi Larry,
In regards to find a pain doctor I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results:
{link removed because site no longer exists}
You can give this other site a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another:
wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist
Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd suggest calling up a number of them to see if they prescribe the type of medication you are seeking to manage your pain. You may also have to ask if they are accepting new patients, but in most cases they generally are.
Please post back if either of these links were able to work out for you. Hope this helps!
