Oxycodone Alcohol

Had surgery Wednesday and took 2 oxycodone that day. Haven't had any since then... Today is Friday. Is it safe to have a glass of wine tonight?

There shouldn't be any serious issues, as long as your doctor approves. You may still get a bit more dizzy and nauseous than usual, so one drink might affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on. Thus, it would be best to make sure you aren't driving, if you choose to imbibe.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
