Oxycodone Acetaminophen 10 650

My doctor had me on hydrocodone 10/650 for about 5 years now for my fibromyalgia and its just not working for me any longer - he switched mea to oxycodone \ acetaminophen 10/650 - is this a stronger medicine and do you think that It would help me better as far as pain ?.... Thanks

Well, I can't say whether or not it will be effective at treating your pain, because everyone is different and the only way to know is by trying it and seeing how well it works for you…

However, the Oxycodone is a stronger medication than the Hydrocodone. It takes less than 7mgs of it to equal each 10mgs of the Hydrocodone.

It is also a narcotic analgesic, so it may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

hydrocodone 10mg (aka norco ) is weaker than oxycodone but there's 2 types of oxycodone.... one is Percocet & has tylenol in it the other is simply oxycodone narcotic(roxicodone)Without tylenol.... which one do you take?
