Oxycodone Irritability

I have a friend who has been on 30mgs of Oxycodon for 2 months and she has become extremely irritable, like a total personality change, quick to anger, abrupt, this is not her usual personality and it causes me concern. Has she developed a tolerance and experiencing withdrawals because she needs more?

It may not necessarily be withdrawal, there are other things that could be causing it. She really needs to consult her doctor to have things checked out and discover what it is.

The medication could even just be doing it as a side effect, narcotics can affect some people that way.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
