Oxycodone 5mg Capsules Vs Tablets

I was prescribed oxycodone 5 mg capsules (immediate release). The pharmacy only had the tablets. My question is, are they the same strength?

Yes, it will just take a little bit longer for the medication to enter your blood stream and start working. Usually, about 15 to 20 minutes.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
