Oxycodone 45 Min Before Urine Test

if i took 30 mg of oxycodone 45 min before a urine test would it be detected?

It really depends on how fast your body processes the medication, but that is cutting it close, it usually takes about an hour for it to show up for a urine test. However, as I said, your own body can have an effect on it, so it may be detected.

If you have a prescription, however, all you need to do is tell them that, when you go in for the test. Except for when it comes to certain, specific jobs, they can't deny you the use of legally prescribed medications.

Grove, sometimes there are tests performed by the prescribing doctor to try and make sure that their pain management patients are taking their medications, as prescribed and not abusing them, or perhaps selling them to someone else.

In these cases, someone that hasn't been taking them regularly might try taking one within a certain amount of time, before the test, in the hopes that it will be detected, so their doctor doesn't cut them off from their prescriptions.

I'm not saying that is why the original poster, woohoo, was asking, because I have no way of knowing that, but it does happen.

The issue, of course, that many people run into is that these tests aren't always easy to fool. In many cases they don't just detect the presence of a narcotic, they also show the levels of it that are in someone's body.

Based on their overall health, other medications they may be taking, age, plus the dosage and frequency of that dosage, the levels detected should fall within a certain range. Anything outside of that range can let the doctor know that a possible problem exists. If it's too low, then the person is probably not taking their medication(s) as prescribed and if the levels are too high, then the person is probably taking more than they are supposed to.
