Oxycodone 30mg Tab Generics Are The Same (Top voted first)
UpdatedThey're the same strength and help me just like the little blue ones. Everyone concerned about them are needle freaks or like to abuse them. I have a friend who misuses them and he is complaining. I tell him to take them and in 15 minutes you will feel the same as me. After I take mine it kicks in within 15 to 20 minutes. Keep ur nose clean and don't make me sick hearing needle problems. Been taking Oxycodone 30mg for 2 years and when I get my script filled I always have 30 to 40 left from the month before. Have blue and white, all the same.

I have a friend works in a lab that analyzes different generic meds to make sure they have the right ingredients and the correct milligrams in them. He checked the blue ones - 2 different generic brands versus 2 different big white ones. He showed the results to me and it was amazing. The 1 blue 30mg contained 27 mg, the other blue 30mg had 33 mgs. 1- 30 mg big white one contained 34mgs, the 2nd white one contained only 26 mgs. So it's true about generic meds, there not always the strengths they're supposed to be. So I'm having him do more research on Valium and Xanax. Anyone wanting to know if your getting the exact dose, send 2 of each kind you want checked to a lab. I'm tired of FDA. They're not monitoring all the meds we are being prescribed.
I am almost 64 and I have legally took oxycodone for 48 years, for different causes, and I have bone marrow cancer. I have been shot, cut, ran over with cars twice and survived multiple accidents. I worked for 20 years as a lead ironworker connector and I now hold 3 valid wv coal mining certificates, an 0-6 underground miner, a 0-7 surface miner, and a class 15 surface construction supervisor, and I hold a marion dresser certified inner shield and master welder certificate, and I made and hold a wv contractors license, plus I owned an aluminum repair shop, specializing in coal truck alu bed repair and thin auto body repair, and owned a used car lot, worked in the coal mines. Now sir, you tell me how any man could have made all those certificates and been addicted to anything or not being able to handle my meds??? You shouldn't accuse people that are sick and in need of their meds of being a junkie or addict. Think of what you would do if you had bone marrow cancer and on chemo every day.
Re: File (# 2)
I can relate to this comment. I also have owned and operated the companies that employed many others most all my life. I also have had pain issues as well. Now with testicular cancer the pain is great so the medications must be also of good quality. But they don't control me, I control them. So it is true that where there is real pain I am not an addict but do have a legitimate and legal need for the pain medication. I am now 68 years of age and counting!
Hello Johnny Med Man,
I can tell you 100% for certain that your post isn't entirely correct and I feel it's important to discuss a major oversight. While you may be accurate in saying that the white and blue tablets have the same active ingredients it is not the same case for the inactive ingredients in the pills. I can say this for 100% certainty because the white pill won't have the blue dye and the blue pill will. Some people are severely allergic to the dyes in pills and that's why they can't take certain ones.
I would be willing to bet that there is more of a difference between these two pill than just the dyes and for that reason I have to say that I just don't agree with your statement that they should make you feel the same. In a perfect world where all of our bodies reacted the same you would be correct but it's important not to simply dismiss people preferring one pill over because sometimes there are things that a person simply can't be in control of.
I'm not saying that there aren't people out there abusing medication because there certainly is a large group of people doing so but there are also a number of other factors that would cause someone to prefer one oxycodone pill over another.
