Oxycodone 30m Why Do Sum Have Diffrent Letters

I want to know why they come in m's, v's, a's, etc. i was told the m r the strongest and then v is very weak is this true, or is it just diffrent company stamp i take mine for fibermyalga and another chronic pain disorder so i am very curious i most of the time take half of one so if m's are the strongest do I request those through my dr.or pharmacist and does the price go up.. I just don't see how that could be true the people who have told me this info are nit wits lol so somebody please help me thank you...

Actually, you are correct, the letters or markings simply designate a different company and has nothing to do with the strength and efficacy of the tablets.

Under federal law, each company that manufactures a prescription medication that is approved for sale in the U.S. has to put a different marking on the tablets. This ensures that in case of emergency, they can be identified, including what company manufactured them, what they contain and the relevant dosage.

That way, if a product is contaminated it can be traced, so the manufacturer and FDA can handle the problem or if someone has overdosed, emergency personnel can discover what they have taken and provide proper treatment.
