has a 224 imprinted on one side and a line on the other is this a 30 mg oxycodone

There are numerous reports of this imprint being related to Oxycodone, although it has been debated on a related thread whether it is a 30 or 60 mg dose. Can you please reply with any other details which you might have? Such as the manufacturer, or country? This may be a newly emerging pill imprint.

The blue pill you speak of is scored on one side, imprinted with 224 on the other, and contains 30mg of Oxycodone Hcl. This new brand is produced by Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc and is distributed out of Cranbury, NJ. Be careful with this medication for it is known to be very powerful and dose-sensitive.

THese new 224's are oxycodone 30mg time release that was pushed through by the DEA , they are a time release and have been mixed with other substances to keep people from snorting them, they taste like s**t!! and to try to bang them will be nasty burn, all this to curb the abuse of the drug..

pill king you are full of sh*t. they do not burn and are fully able to be shot up and snorted. They are the same as every other oxycodone ir. No differances other than the manufacturer.

I am not totaly sure they are the same as all the others. I have been taking the 30 mg. Mallinckrodts for at least 3 years. All of a sudden my drugist is saying that he cant get them any more, and changed me over to the 224's. I have had a stomach ever since I started them, and the pain is worse then a month ago. For some reason my bottle still says I am getting the M's, figure that out!!!!

I have been taking oxycodone for about 6 years, my regular pharmacy just switched me from the little blue 215s to the new larger 224 blue pill.. I have called in sick the last 3 days thinking I had the flu, then realized 45 minutes after taking a 224 I became horribly nauseous, mild headache and felt heart palpitations. my regular pharmacy tells me that this is the only generic oxycodone and they can get. tomorrow I am going back to the doctors first thing in the morning get a new prescription and take it to a new pharmacy and make sure they are not the 224 s. I've been taking oxycodone a long time and I know this is not how they're supposed to make you feel. I am also calling the human drug product support adverse events phone number! if enough people have adverse reactions to this med will they take it off the market?

The pharmacy told me that the price on Oxy 30 more then doubled. So they changed to other cheaper brands. They made me sick too and so I took back to my doctor and he flushed them down the toilet and wrote me a new script and I took it to Walgreens who carries the Mallincroft brand..

The Walgreens here in my area (tri-state) won't even fill my oxycodone prescriptions anymore. They won't fill scripts from my Dr s practice. I just don't understand. I've had 3 strokes. I fell at work down steps into a concrete floor and cracked my back had an operation and now have metal plates cages and rods in my back. Got infected and was hooked up to an iv machine for months. Went from being a dancer to a wheel chair bound disabled thing. And Walgreens won't fill my scripts because they don't like my Dr???!!!
It's ridiculous, all the trouble I go through almost every month trying to get my pain medication!
Thanks for letting me vent.

Yes I agree the ones you are talking about are made by caraco and they are horrible as you say. I plan to make a complaint to the FDA but where are you complaining to as I would like to make a complaint as well

Wow I can't believe that you abusers so openly talk about the different ways you you obtain as well as the way you abuse it! It's because of people like you that make almost impossible for legitimate folks in real need to get the meds we need! Get some help! I will be reporting all this site and user names to the DEA for follow up.

To" keeping it real",. I hope u r not in acute pain, as some of these people r. Trying to get medicine in the USA has become an ordeal. If u have truly been in horrible pain, and can't get your meds, this if horrible. And yes there r abusers everywhere, of everything, but most of these people are truly in need of their meds. Living with pain is no life at all. Have some compassion for those of us who a really suffering.

My doctor won't give me a new script and the pharmacy won't take them back!! And I called this pharmacy ahead of time to ask what kind they had and they wouldn't tell me said I could bring it in to fill and if it's not what want I didn't have to take it. BS!!! Hey could I get the number you said you were gonna call and if you have the FDA number I would like to call that one too. These 224's are horrible!!!! I have a long time to go before I get my new prescription!! Huey66
