Well i.m from canada and i have sever pain and the pill does not say 20 on both side is says 20 then CDN or if ur from the US if will say 20 and OC on the back of it. it is used for sever pain or if u have canser they are vary addictive and should be used the way ur dortors says if u are using more u will be vary sick when u dont have them if it is oxycottin and just to let u know if u get addicted to this pill if u get taken of it and have to go to rehab there is a 3% changes that u will stay off it and the other97% will relapes and get back on them

JanyBee is correct, ER is just one of many abbreviations used to designate a tablet as being time released. Though, in the intervening years from when the original post was made, the U.S. has done away with generic forms of time released Oxycodone, so at this time, you can only get the name brand produced by Purdue Pharma.
