Oxycodone 10/325 And Opana Er 40mg

I never had a problem going to any pharmacy and getting my prescription filled. Now CVS Drug chain states they can't fill it because "They are at their threshold"? What?? Smiths Food and Drug Pharmacies who I could always count on are always out stating "We've gone through our monthly allotment" What?? Does anyone know what morphine withdrawals are like? Just give me a shot gun please!!! Where can I go in Henderson, Nevada to get my medication to just take the edge off of my pain? I can't find a Pain Management Dr to prescribe what I've been taking for years and gives me some quality of life. The Ignorant Pain Management Dr I see monthly now cut my Percocet from 180 ct. to 120 ct. monthly and blamed the (DEA) Drug Enforcement Agency who claims to have done no such thing and blames it on Doctors who are afraid for their jobs. Please advise or help me if you've been through this.

Hello, Nana! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having.

Every pharmacy is assigned a certain amount of any given controlled substance that they can order and have in stock each month and once that supply is exhausted, they are out, until they can restock for the next month. It is something set up by the government and they have no choice in the matter.

As to the dosage cut, the DEA issued new directives instructing that people should only be prescribed a maximum of the equivalent of 120mgs of Morphine each and some states have independently lowered that amount even further to a maximum of the equivalent of only 100mgs of Morphine. Except in cases where someone has intractable pain from a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer, your doctor would face a lot of issues, if they were to prescribe more. I know it's terrible and leaving a lot of people, such as yourself, in miserable pain, but that's the way things currently stand.

I wish I had better news for you on both issues, I really do, because I do know what the withdrawal is like. I went cold turkey off high doses of narcotics years ago, when I stopped pain management and those symptoms aren't something I'd wish on anyone else.

Does anyone that lives in that area know of a place that may still have these medications in stock?

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
