Does anyone know how long it takes for this drug to leave your system. I don't think it is working for me and I want to compare how may times I urinate with and without it?

I also have IC. I have been given at least 6 meds (over 10 year period) - no result, the latest being Toviaz. I am having a cystoscopy next week and have read so much about Elmiron causing hair loss that I am afraid to take it. Have you experienced this side effect of losing your hair?

iI HAVE BEEN USING OXYBUTININ TRANSDERMAL PATCHES THAT 3.9 MG OF OXYBUTININ EVERY DAY. THEY ARE CHANGED TO A DIFFERENT SITE TWICE WEEKLY. I HAVE BEEN USING THEM FOR 8 WEEKS AND NO LONGER FEEL THEY ARE EFFECTIVE. I NEED TO URINATE 4 OR 5 TIMES PER NIGHT NOW. PREVIOUSLY I USED TOVIAZ 8MG, THEY WERE VERY EFFECTIVE BUT MADE ME FEEL WORN OUT. WHEN I SEE MY DOCTOR LATER THIS WEEK I WILL ASK FOR TOVIAZ 4MG AND SEE HOW THEY WORK. AM TIRED OUT WITH THE NIGHT URINE PROBLEMS. I PREVIOUSLY WORE A PERMANENT BLADDER CATHETER THAT I SELF MANAGED.

Hello, I would like to know of a naturopath. I am taking Oxybutyin only until I can see a naturopath, but I have no idea where to start. Afraid to get a quack. Perhaps you know someone out in Corona California or I am willing to drive to do a drive of about 30 miles if need be. thank you for your consideration. I have 3 kids under 7 and I can't do anything with them because I am up every hour to urinate and during the day I must be so close to bathroom.

I just asked that questions at the pharmacy the other day and he said up to 72 hours depending on your body fat.

My 4 year old girl is taking medecine for this bladder problem they say she has to get a Cathator. To stretch the urethra walls to ease the problem. But because of the holidays the doctor office is closed. She keeps wiping herself because she says it always feels wet it's bothering her alot is there anything we can do to put on it to ease her until monday

i have been on oxybutin for well over a month...before that flomax...i cant hardly pee even tho my kidneys hurt really bad from having to pee....i have to push it out myself,is this normal?im so frustrated...i feel like i cant do anything because of my problem.

I felt the same way. My doctor just prescribed it to me and I took it for the first time last night and I still got up in the night to pee and it wasnt much different today either. I was thinking of not taking it anymore.

That these meds have not stopped OAB is good to hear. I
Thought it was just me.
Any further help for this problem would be appreciated.
Hopefully not surgery.

how long does bentyl stay in your system. It didn't help with pain . the doctor gave me norco to take instead. how long should i wait between drugs.

I started on Oxybutynin a week ago... before that I used to go almost every 2hrs. or sometimes after 15min. few times during the night I was getting very frustrating sometimes!!! after the 2nd day taking Oxybutynin everything changed I go less, but I have to push my self to empty my bladder... I'm going to see my doctor in 4 weeks... but I don't know if it's normal or I should contact my doctor before waiting for another 3 weeks...

hello, i'm oxybutynin 5mg. i've been on for 3 weeks. and now all of sudden for some reason i can't pee. what should i do. and is this normal

the half life of Oxybutynin is short so it should be done doing it's 'thing' in 6-8 hrs. I had to change generics in the past, due to my pharmacy's choice, and all of a sudden the med stopped working. Thank God, I told the pharmacist, as she told me that this happens with some generics and they have a certain % of failure rate that is allowed. She went and ordered me the old generics back and the med worked just like it always has. This may or not help, but thought I'd tell you anyhow.

I have just started Gelnique. I have tried every other pill known but nothing worked. Hopefully this will work for me - how long does it take for it to start working?
