Oxybutynin And Overactive Bladder (Page 3)

Does anyone know how long it takes for this drug to leave your system. I don't think it is working for me and I want to compare how may times I urinate with and without it?

My doc said takes 6-8 weeks to work..I've been on it four four weeks I notice no change yet ,but i started getting the dry mouth five days ago and my skin is so dry all over I have to go off of it. I'm flaky and its gross I didn't know the pill caused this pharmist said yes also dry eyes and mouth.

I take oxybutynin CL ER 15 mg tablets. When is the best time to take this medication? I've been taking it at night because it's the worse time for me and I'm still going 3-4 times at night. The day time I may go 2 times the entire day.

Hello. I was on oxybutinin for about three weeks and at first it worked a little bit but after missing three doses because my perscription ran out after I got a new perscription the medicine didn't work the same. And Ialthough I had constant urgent need to urinate i could not urinate. I made three trips to emerg and they finally took me off. I am going to see a urologist when I can get an appointment and see if they can give me relief. It's been a lonely experience and quite scary. every time I leave the house I panic for fear of needing a washroom. Good luck with your treatments.

Are you saying you got ecoli from taking oxybutin? I have had two bladder infections and have been sick to my stomach for three weeks. I got off of oxybutin a week ago but still have the same problem

How long does it take to adjust to any side effects - sleepiness, in particular.

I began Oxybutynin CL 10mg on 8 June and noticed a change in frequency of urination almost at once. Last night I fell asleep around 7pm and slept till 3pm, except for 2 foggy trips to the bathroom.

I take the pill between 10-11 pm or when I go to bed, whichever comes first

The dry mouth actually helps me remember to drink more, and other than the sleepiness, I am not suffering any adverse reactions.

I take oxybutynin in the morning, then have a hard time urinating all day. Can I take it at night instead? I am a huge water drinker.

I have been taking this medicine for a long while and i dont know if anyone taking this medication has had this experience or not but i want to stop taking this medicine i have been experiencing all day since taking todays pill lightedness dizziness feeling like im going to pass out or faint severe cramps stomachache and watery diareaha. Are any one experiencing these symptoms and can i stop taking this medication?Julie Chapman
