Oxcarbazepine, the active ingredient in Trileptal, is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer.
The only commonly reported skin issue is a sensitivity to sunlight, which could result in getting sunburn much faster than normal and much more severe.
However, medications can affect everyone differently, so if you are experiencing some type of skin problem, you need to contact your doctor to see if it is being caused by the medication or by something else.
