Over Counter Drug For Abscessed Tooth

My cheek is swollen and I wanted to know what can I take or buy to help alleviate an abscessed tooth?

Unfortunately no, there is nothing available over the counter that will treat this, since it is a bacterial infection. This is going to require an antibiotic from your doctor or dentist.

The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Is there anything else I can help with?
