Oval White Pill With E14

Found oval pill with E14 on one side nothing on other. And the E looks like a C with line threw it . making it look like the letter E. What is it??

Hi JD,

I stumbled upon a drug manufacturer by the name of Epic Pharma LLC who has an "E" that fits your description. The back of their letter E is curved like a C but also has the little line extended through the center.

The pill itself marked E 14 is reportedly identified as Meclizine hydrochloride (25mg), which is an antihistamine used for treating motion sickness (nausea, vomiting & dizziness).

For verification, it carries a National Drug Code of 42806-0014

NOTE: Because there's no photograph of this pill on the internet, my depiction of this particular tablet was based on description-only. However, there is an imagine on the internet of Epic Pharma's 200mg Sulindac oval yellow tablet that accurately shows how the E should look with the 'letter number' placement on one side and blank on the other.

Hi JD,

It is indeed Meclizine 25mg; a generic for Antivert. I have a script for it and I am looking at a tablet inscribed with E14, and the bottle that identifies it. David is accurate in his information. It works very well for vertigo (dizziness). I only take it occasionally, but I might give it a try for motion sickness some time.

In the ER they gave me 2 blue pills, left there find & could drive myself home. Went to get prescription filled they gave me E14 & I got worse, there has to be something different in the 2 blue pills & this E14, went back to DR he replied there is no difference but there is. Something wrong here. I have had vomiting for many days
