A friend has a problem with opiates. They bought these pills that are white and have p333 on them. They were told they were 10 mg narcotics, either oxys or hydros. Anyway I've never heard of them and don't want them taking something that could hurt them.

Is the marking possibly A 333?
There is a tablet that matches this description with A 333 on it that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Oxycodone, it's a generic for Percocet. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
