Hello, Ethan! How are you? Has this situation resolved, yet?

It can be dangerous to stop such a medication abruptly, because it could cause a rebound elevation in heart rate and blood pressure, which may hit dangerous levels.

This medication is classified by the FDA as a beta blocker and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

It's never a good idea to take a medication prescribed for someone else, it will also cause them to run short on their prescription.

In the future, it would be best to contact your doctors office, before you are out of them. Most doctors prefer that you call at least a week, before needing such a medication, so they can phone in a refill, or have you come in for an appointment.
