Oralcon Contraceptive Still Bleeding

I'm 23 and a first time user, I was told to start taking the white pill on the day I start bleeding to keep my period away for that month. I started bleeding yesterday on which I then took my first white pill, today I'm still bleeding and took my second white pill. When will I stop bleeding as I'm only on the pill to keep my period away for the next 30days. PLEASE HELP

Hello, Zemonita! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're having.

It may not stop your period, at all. It can shorten the length of bleeding for some women and when taken continuously prevent periods, but it doesn't work for everyone.

I can actually cause bleeding as a side effect, in some women that take it, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, headache and PMS-like symptoms.
