What side effects have others experienced and how long do the side effects last for?

Hi. I have been on two-month injections since May 2017 and my next appointment was on the 4th of Aug. but I didn't go for the contraceptive again till date. All these months I've been on my periods for a week to almost 2 weeks at a time and I saw that I've been menstruating for a long time. I used oralcon as a pill to stop my periods and it has been working for da past 4 months, but now I'm not seeing my periods, I'm just cramping. I've already done three pregnancy tests that came out negative. My last intercourse date was on the 3rd of Sept. 2017. Can oralcon be the cause of my current situation?

Hi. I am on my period now and I want to stop taking oralcon. I hope there are no side effects. Do I have to wean off? Thanks.

hi im on oralcon pills a doctor gave it to me to drink 1 tablet 3 times a day course of my unbalanced hormones its a week now im having back pain , breast pains and stomach pains is this normal?

Hi Gail. I picked up 5 kgs and my periods were heavy or non-existent. I am back on Nordette. It took 3 months for the Oralcon to get out of my system. Maybe 5. You can buy Nordette at any pharmacy, but may need a prescription. The constipation could be from painkillers or iron. Your hair breakage is unlikely to have been caused by the pill. Thyroid problems could have caused that or any chemical treatments, e.g. relaxers, highlights, perms. Also flat ironing without serum. You could try an Olaplex treatment to strengthen it again. Take a six-week course of move-on for your constipation. You can add a sachet to your coffee or tea to make it more pleasant. Good luck.

Hi I'm Gail I'm been using oralcon for almost a month now and I picked up 3 kg.Also my hair broke off terribly and I'm constipated. Does anyone know where I can get nordett cause that's working very well for me

Hi. I have started oralcon today and now my perfume smells very awful. Can't stand the smell. Is there any correlation between oralcon causing this foul odor?

Your symptoms sound worrying. Have you seen a gynae lately? Maybe you should go and have a check up and scan

What are the side effects of oralcon? Can I use oralcon to control painful menses? I just started taking the pill yesterday and my periods are due in 5 days.

Hi, I had a hormone imbalance and the Doc gave me medication and some antibiotics to clean my womb. He also gave me oralcon to control my cycle but only the white ones. Is there something wrong? I have very high temperature and I feel pain after intercourse, got sore nipples and I feel something like a tail on the mouth of my womb.

Please stop taking in immediately and go on to Nordette. I only took it for three months because my clinic changed to it from Nordette. I had all these side effects plus 5 kgs weight gain. I Lose weight easily, but 6 months on, I am still struggling. They tell you it's exactly the same as Nordette but it's not. You only have to look through the messages

Hi, I have pcos an have been put on oralcon to regulate my period but few days after taking it I had really dark brown discharge I was really concerned but was told my uterus was cleaning itself an then I started bleeding while still on the white pill an im bleeding really heavy with really bad blood cloths an constant headaches daily that wont leave with the worst mood swings an also really bad depression an I've started breaking out with terrible acne on my face.... Really worried... Is this just side effects or is something seriously wrong??????

Are you over 46? If you you are, could be perimenopause. Those are some of the symptoms I got when it started. And cramps in feet and legs.
