Opana Er How Long Does It Take To Work

I have severe RA, hip and femur full of bullet fragments and severe muscle loss. I have been taking 3 x's a day mscontin 30mg. Dr put me on 30mg of Opana 2 x's daily. I took first 2hours and not helping yet with my pain. How long does it take to kick in fully? Thank you

The ER designates it as being a time released medication, so it doesn't all take effect, at once, it is slowly released over a period of time, but you should start to feel some relief within a few minutes of taking it.

Has there been any change?

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
