Actually, the best thing to do to avoid seeming like a drug seeker is to just tell the about the problem, without asking for any specific dosage change. They are the doctor, so they usually expect to suggest such.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
