If you just get it damp/moist, it will start to dissolve the outer coating of the tablet.

This should not be done, however, as it could result in the medication being released to quickly, resulting in an overdose.

Opana is a narcotic pain medication, so it must be used very carefully and should only be taken as instructed by your doctor.
