Valium usually takes 3-5 days but depending on your bmi fat ratio which is where the drug is stored and your metabolism rate it could be out in two days. 2 days minimum

Hello John,

I'm curious, what dietary pill did you take that you were unaware of having valium in it? I'm surprised that a medical professional would prescribe something that contained diazepam for dietary purposes.

According to the FDA and NIH valium has an initial half-life of 3 hours. It is generally accepted that it takes between 4 and 6 half life cycles for a drug to completely leave your body, doing the simple math this means that it could take between 12 and 18 hours for the initial dosage to leave your body. They continue on to say that continued dosages on average then extend the half life cycle of diazepam up to 48 hours (2 days). Doing the math again you're looking at approximately 8 - 12 days. They also warn that some patients have been known to have half life cycles upwards of 100 hours per cycle.
