I am taking omeprazole 2omg capsules prescribed by my doctor and they have helped me almost instantly,but i have questions that need answering.will my problem be cured from these tablets...Can i develop cancer from this condition...Do i have a disease of the of some sort...Could it be possible i just have heartburn from my diet,alcohol sweet drinks etc..Whats the next step?

Just to clarify, I located your capsule to be Omeprazole (20 mg).

Omeprazole is used in the treatment of dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

I take Omeprazole SA 20mg capsules, 2 of them in the morning. Taking since July 2010. Past several months my artheritis is flaring up just terrably. Ankles and shoulders, down into both biceps. Pain scale has gone from a 2 to 4 to a 8 to 10, mostly 10. Does this medication have anything to do with that. Just looking for answers
