Oleptal Effect

My 7 year old son suffering from seizure from last five months. He had two episodes of seizures in first 24 hours at birth. He didn't breath for first 5
Minutes after birth.
At the age of two he developed squint.
Since last two years he occasionally had partial focul seizures at the time of eating. I came to known that it is also a seizure when he was admitted after seizure. Now my son is taking oleptal 150mg BD for last five months. Now I feel that partial sezures at the time of food had reduced a little bit
But in sleep sezures not only started their frequency also encreased.
Is this because side effects of this drug.
What should I do

Are you sure he is having seizures while sleeping? There is a chance that he could just be dreaming.

Due to the way this medication works on brain chemicals, it can cause odd and lucid dreaming as side effects, according to NIH reports, along with nausea, dizziness, mood swings, and weight gain.

Have you informed his doctor? Is this the only medication he is taking?
