i just found this pill, it is like a cream color capsule (the kind that opens up) with absolutely no identifying information on it

Hmmm, this would be difficult if not impossible to identify without actually performing a lab analysis. Prescription drugs in the U.S. are all regulated by the FDA, and are required to have unique imprint codes on them. This ensures that no two meds can get confused. Having a capsule with no markings on it indicates one of the following possibilities:

- Over the counter med
- Foreign country med
- illegal substance
- the letters or numbers on it somehow faded or disappeared over time

Sorry I can't provide a more conclusive response. Please understand that it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack without any definitive markings. Like I mentioned before, it would be possible to run a lab analysis to determine the chemical makeup of the capsule. The only thing is that it would probably be fairly expensive, and it might not be very important for you to get a definitive ID in this case. By no means would I recommend taking this capsule, since it could be anything...
