left my metformin home when I went on a cruise. stopped in mexico at a pharmacy right when you get off the ship....bought a bottle that says mevicfor but white ...no imprint and oblong shape...on side states victory enterpises S.A.DE C.V

I bought this metformin right off the pier in a pharmacy not on the street but my concern is due to nothing on the pill indicating it is metformin...however it is listed 500mg on the bottle

This is listed as containing 500mgs of Metformin, but that's the best I can do, there's no way to know if that's really what you've purchased, since it's foreign.

Metformin may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and hypoglycemia.
