And the tablet with the IP 111 marking on it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mg of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, it is a narcotic pain reliever.

As such, it has the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and drowsiness.

Additionally, by request of the FDA, due to the risks of organ damage associated with long-term use and the risk of toxicity from overdose, manufacturers are lowering all of these combination medications to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen.

Some have already begun to implement the change and the rest are expected to have done so by January of 2014. Thus, in the future, please double check the current information and don't just assume that this tablet still contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen.
