Hi Bob,

I was unable to locate specific details on the combination of these three medications, but I did look up each one individually to get an idea of what their used for:

Nystatin is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, mouth, vagina, and intestinal tract.

Hydrocortisone is used to relieve the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions.

Diphenhydramine is used to relieve red, irritated, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by hay fever, allergies, or the common cold.

Based on the details above, it's tough for me to say whether or not this is the best prescription medication to handle the job. While Nystatin can be used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, neither of the other two drugs appear to support this cause with their primary applications.

Have you discussed this with your doctor yet?
