Nucynta Substitute For Codeene

I am allergic to Codeine and was prescribed Nucynta I am still scared to take it without checking. I have a severe itch reaction to codeine that is worse than the pain I am taking it for. To the point I attempt to claw the blood from my veins

There is no Codeine in it. Nucynta contains the active ingredient Tapentadol. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
