Novastat Cv 10

My Mother having the medicine Novastat cv 10 once in a day (at night). Her dentist advise her to stop this medicine for couple of days before and after pull of a wisdom tooth as there would be possibility of non stop bleeding. Please advise if she can stop for few days or any alternate options.

She should follow her dentist's instructions for the best outcome, and for her own safety. The dentist is correct that this medication can create an increased risk of bleeding, since it contains Clopidogrel, with Rosuvastatin, the former of which is a blood thinner that prevents clotting.

Is she on any other medications?
