Re: Workinghere (# 50)
I'm wondering which pharmacy you got the amneal or malindkrodt. Those are the only two off brands that seem to have any effect on me. Right now I have the novel brand it has a n358 on one side and a 10 on the other it is the worst out of all the generics I have tried yet.
Looking for decent Norco brands in 2022. Does anybody out there have any information where I could have my Norco prescription sent in? The pharmacy I am using switched to the no good white n358 with the 10 on the other side. Worst ones I have ever had and I have pretty much had them all. Any help in pointing me in the right direction will be much appreciated thank you.
Been taking the brand of Norco for chronic pain until it was recently discontinued by every pharmacy known in my area. I was forced to have to get the generic in Tris, Mallinckrodt or Amneal because all pharmacies advised their distributors have discontinued the brand names in all similar pain medications.
These generic names have definitely all changed their formulas. It's even hard to tell you took the medication. Only someone like me would notice such a drastic change after getting off the Brand overnight. Must be because of the billions of dollars in lawsuits filed over the last few years. I can only think big pharma is trying to reduce it's exposure to lawsuits from the bad behavior and abuse from non chronic pain patients. It's ashamed chronic pain sufferers have to pay the price of others bad behavior and abuse.
Does anyone else see this medication as being completely altered?

Where did you get the watson brand of norco?
Enjoy it, because Walgreens is giving out Triss and that has no effect, weak. Take it and be happy, it’s the best. Mark my words.

The doctors are to blame to giving prescriptions to people who only sit there and say "Oh, I'm dying in pain, it's killing me, etc.." Well, any doctor in their right mind would not just prescribe w/o having MRI's, Xrays, etc....This is how this epidemic started by people going to doctors and feigning pain w/o tests proving what was wrong and if it was serious enough for narcotic pain relief. I know someone who has been getting narcotics for over 35 years and they've never had anything serious wrong with them, hell they hardly ever worked and when they did they sure as hell never lifted anything heavy, never had an accident at work, never been in a car accident yet they've been a full blown drug addict for all this time. They're now getting morphine 30 mgs. and he takes like 24 of them a day plus another opiate too! They're getting literally hundreds a month and they nod out all the time, have hallucinations, delirium, and delusions!

As far as I know Watson is bought by Actavis, so try to find out from your Pharmacy or Physician why after Actavis purchase of Watson Pharmaceuticals, the Watson imprint is still on the pill. Make sure the pill you purchased isn't outdated and it should be off the shelves. Please search these facts.
Yes it the best Joanie Watson 10/325 is the best. If Watson was available at Walgreens it would be great. They put some junk Tiss and it’s junk. Greedy. HQ

I had the same problem with Mallinckrodt medication. Just like taking across the counter Tylenol.

I agree completely. Where I live our Dr's have all freaked out and sending everyone to pain management Dr's which makes no sense. They write scripts that are not needed and the ones that send you to them don't think or want to give them, saying they'll get in trouble?? Lol makes no sense..but back to what I was saying, the only ones we have been able to get for 2 months were the m367 and those shouldn't even be made. I'm hoping it's not just me but the yellow are the only ones that do what they're supposed to do. I agree.
If u can't handle a flexeril .. you won't be able to handle soma.. plus dr.'s don't prescribe them anymore.. very rare.. good luck to you & God Bless.. btw.. u don't want to get addicted to soma's they are tough to get off of.. just say'n
The only brand of generic Norco that works for me is Qualitest. They are yellow, oblong, scored tablets. My pharmacist recommended that brand for generic. He was right. Watson comes in a close second, though.
Yes they make them in those colors as well but you should look into seeing which maker does the yellow ones. They were the best. I really don't know why they do not but they seem to work the best. The yellow ones work the best. I've tried them all and all the others are s***......need to find out why.
Yes they are better than the white m367 which are also 10/325 Watson are they best if you can't get the name brand narco.
Watson also makes a white 10/325 norco same shape as the yellow pill but just white. It's the white norco pill that looks like a 800mg of motrin you want to avoid. Those are placebos.
I had a nasty pharmacist at CVS. She got mad because I asked about a different generic and at 29 days she refused a written prescription.
.
Jasmine, I just remembered I use qualitest, which are yellow and have the check mark on them. The only white ones I ever had was a few years back I had Watson white pills and recently M367 which I did not care for. Years ago, the yellow Watson was the best as far as long lasting pain relief. I use CVS also and hope they do not change up generics on me. I wish I could just buy regular Norco, I will ask my pharmacist if I can get those.
Beagle my Activis are white and oblong and they are the same ones most people here are complaining about. My doctor writes generic on my prescription but I am told these are the branded ones.
I cannot judge because I never had the yellow ones. I had Mallencroft from CVS and I am not able to tell any difference.
Jasmine I know that Watson bought out Activis and use the name Activis. Are they oblong, yellow and have a check mark on one side and 3601 on the other? I've been getting these for years and they work great for me. If you find something better please post it.
I looked on line and the Norco 10/325 IP 110 are real. The pharmaceutical company is Amneal and maybe they differ from the other generic you were using. I have had no luck in asking for a different generic. I receive Activis Norco 10/325 every month.
