Norco 10/325 And Morphine Ir 30 Mg

For several years, I have been taking morphine ir 30mg and Hydrocodone 10/325 , both four times per day, as prescribed. . . what would withdrawl syptoms be ? Would it be dangerous if physician abruptly discontinues both at once, without "tapering off" or providing a substitute ?
