No Period With Flagyl Comp

Hi, I had a yeast and bacterial infection and was told by my doctor to take flagyl comp for 10 days. I don't know if it will affect my period because it has never been missed before. My period came two days after it was delayed, but with much pain and it didn't flow well either. I don't know if I might be pregnant?

Antibiotics can cause you to experience a longer cycle, in other words a delay to the start of your period, according to NIH reports. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Are you on any other medications? Did you try a pregnancy test?
