No Period On Metronidazole (Top voted first)

I am 5 days late on period. Took a pregnancy test yesterday came up negative. I was on metro pill 500mg twice day for a week. Was suppose to get my period about 4/5 aftwr taking last of medicine. I had to take a diflucan too cause the meds give me a yeast infection. Could the metro pills possibly be making me late? Did i take a preg test too early? It was an EPT test. Please help!!!!

Yes, the FDA does warn that most antibiotics, of any type, can cause you to experience a longer cycle, so you might not experience your period, at your usual time. They can also, sometimes, interfere with oral contraceptives, and reduce their efficacy, so there might be a risk of pregnancy, if you've been engaging in intercourse.

Has there been any change? Did you experience a period, yet? Are you on any other medications?

I have been on the following medications: G-ROXIM 500, TIOCOSID Dermal cream 20g, KLOVINAL (Metronidazole + clotrimazole + lactobacillus spores pessaries), LORATYN 10 mg, BATINA (Tinidazole Tablets B.P. 500mg), pure cocoa powder and a solutions tonic for infection treatment. I took them all for 15 days, and my menstruation has been late for seven days now. I took a blood pregnancy test but it was negative. Is it the meds that I took that affect me or what? Please help me. Thanks.
