No Bruising When Starting Eliquis After Stopping It
UpdatedI had a pace maker put in and stopped taking Eliquis for 6 weeks. When I started taking it again I am not bruising. When taking it before the pace maker I bruised really easy and a lot. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Hello, Diane! How are you?
Your body may just be better adjusted to the medication, now. Most side effects are typically transient and go away, after awhile. However, given your concern, you should make sure to inform your doctor to be sure.
Other typical side effects for this medication may include nausea, dizziness, headache and increased risk of bleeding.
Is there anything else I can help with?
