Nitrofurantoin Monohyd Mac

I have just taken my 1st tablet of nitrofuratoin monohyd Mac 100mg & am needing to urinate about every 5 minutes, is this normal? will my body adjust to this as this it is very uncomfortable?

Hi, Jean! Sorry about the urination problem.

However, I didn't find it listed as a side effect of this medication, not even among the rare ones that are listed.
