Nitrofurantoin Macrobid 100mg While Pregnant

I'm pregnant 18 weeks. Is it ok to take these pills will being pregnant?

The antibiotic Nitrofurantoin is in pregnancy category B, so it's considered safe to use, up until a woman is near term or in labor (38 to 42 weeks).

It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea and non-allergic skin rash.
