Nitrofur Mac Side Effect

I have a drug reaction to Macrobid - does this generic cause the same side effects as Macrobid? The inside of my mouth, tonsils and throat are itching.

Yes, they are the exact same thing and carry the risk of the same exact side effects and allergic reactions.

This does not sound, however, like a normal side effect, but more like a possible allergy to the medication. You should consult your doctor or pharmacist, right away.

Who suggested you should use the generic, instead of the name brand?
