Our doctor prescribed neuronton for my husband, he has had 2 strokes plus dementia.She has now taken him off the medication.I don't understand why? He was doing so well on it to my knowledge.He was doing things for himself with little help from me.
Such as dressing himself, showering by himself while I standby. He'd
have me print out our names etc.to relearn.printing out our names.
He would even go.as far as getting out his weights for a little exercizing.To me he is now back.to square 1. Upset& confused!

Have you discussed this with his doctor? Did she prescribe any other medications?
The FDA lists the typical side effects of Neurontin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood swings.
