I don't take neurontin and have never taken it. I have been on methadone for 8 years and have been taking urine drug screens the entire time. This past month my screen showed that I had taken neurontin, as I stated I don't take it. I take over the counter medicine for acid reflux and a sleep aid which is just benadryl. Does anyone have any ideas what would cause this to show up in my test? I have lost some of my privileges due to this showing up. Please help!!!

The over the counter sleep aid that is benadryl shows up as a benzo. I'm I guess pretty much in the same program and have been for 3 years this month. I've been dealing with the same since January this year if you take any king of benadryl or over the counter nighttime sleep aid it will cause you to fail the only thing. That won't is melatonin or if you can get prescribed trazadone because it doesn't show up. I hope this will help you some.
