Need To Find Adderall Doctor In Pinellas County Florida

Hi! I've been prescribed adderall for 10+ years. I moved to Florida from Wisconsin 1 month ago. I had state insurance in wisconsin, so I'm in process of getting Medicaid here in Pinellas County , Florida now. How do I find a psychological doctor who will continue me on the adderall? Need to find a doc in Pinellas County- can someone give me some info????

There is really no way to find a doctor who can be guaranteed to prescribe you any specific medication. In most cases, it is easier to find a new specialist if you set yourself up with a new PCP and have them refer you. If that is not possible, then make sure not to ask for a specific medication, when calling to set up and appointment with a new doctor, you should let your records speak for you and discuss it at an actual appointment to avoid raising red flags.

Since it carries the risk of being habit forming, Adderall is a controlled substances, so some doctors are reluctant to prescribe it. I've never taken it, but from what I understand it really helps many people with ADHD, narcolepsy, and shift-work sleep disorder. You can read more about this medication on DailyMed.
