Hey Spyder, there is an ad in the Knoxville tn. thrifty nickel pg. 4 near top of page...You should give them a call...I believe they are a legite clinic and require all the proper medical records etc...etc...You do know that doctor shopping is illegal....if any doctor is given this perception...they will turn you away....I've heard they are only 275 a month...I really couldn't tell you much more than that....read post 110 on this blog...I've given info. on the ad to someone else in the recent past....my best wishes to your health.
sorry to hear your trouble and situation. Like I have told a few people on this Forum in the past from listening to my mother in law and her experiences. You can do a walk in at some places (pain management clinics) but the bottom line is you have to possess a mri or ct scan no longer than two yrs. old. You have to have the paperwork with you to show the doctor....PERIOD or they will only schedule you for a later date requesting that you bring the proper papers with you then. So keep that in mind.....this clinic in north Knoxville will take walk ins only with the proper paper work on you......eight six five, eight five one, eight five zero eight....some places do require a referral...but I can't answer that one for you.....just have to call and find out.
Yes dilaudid is hydromorphone, nasty stuff. I had some and threw them away. Invented by the Germans in the early 1900's
Lots of chronic pain patients are having trouble getting their medications. I could go on for hours with all the horror stories that I have heard. There's a great lady who posts that has a petition to help get some law makers on our side. To try to put a stop to all the problems we are having with getting our medications and getting good medical care.

Please click on the petition and give us your signature. All chronic pain patients need someone in our corner.

Preferred pain care on john sevier hwy. They now are only accepting patients with a certain Medicare insurance. These people are awesome and the office is extremely Well run.
who ever wrote this article doesn't know what real pain is and need to keep their opinion to themselves.

I'm interested in finding a Dr. that prescribes methadone as well. My Dr. has been giving it to me for the last 12yrs and all at once said he couldn't write for it anymore! It has turned my life upside down!!! I would really appreciate it if you could tell me where to go to get it prescribed again. He said it had to be a pain clinic! Thank you very much, Stacy
Look on a Search Engine in your area for a M.D. or D.O. These professionals can assist with your daily maintenance medications and possibly your pain medicine as well!
Lisinipril is free at Publux Pharmacy I gave been getting my presc there for 2 years. Lisinipril, an antibiotic and one other are free
You're addressing some people legitimately but everyone who dislikes methadone is a damn junkie and that was pure unnecessary hatred and ridicule. I've been on all of them too and I WAS a zombie on methadone. I couldn't stay awake ever, if I sat down, and my pain was still bad. So just because it works for you doesn't mean it does for everyone, it there wouldn't be so many different types. I take tramadol which works better and is much weaker than methadone and does not cause euphoria. I can sit in comfort but it's not adequate to function. I have bilateral protrusio acetebuli and that sure as hell is no EXCUSE to need meds it's extremely painful. I hate methadone. As well as oxy, Roxy, opana, morphine and all the other s*** that is not really all that different than methadone. If needing hydrocodone with my tramadol so I can WALK makes me a drug seeking junkie, you're delusional and you're biased opinion means jack to me.
Oxycodone is what is in percocet . They make oxycodone that does not have tylenol in it they make a 15mg, 20mg, and a 30 mg. Anything that is 10mg or under has tylenol in it.
Hi I just moved to Knoxville Tennessee and I don't have insurance yet I suffer from being hit by a car I have a spinal injury L4, L 5, S1 and hip problems and degenerative disc desease along with depression. I'm in need of finding a doctor fast because I've been off my meds over a month and I'm in bad shape. My doctor from Michigan mailed me my medical records but I'm having problems getting medical insurance and I'm a chronic care patient I also suffer from asthma. Can anyone direct me anywhere that will prescribe my meds without insurance
Re: Knoxville2876 (# 276)
Yes Telemedicine is the real deal but you do live in TN which has strict regulations, and also pain medications are usually excluded from this type of new medicine.
I can help ya out if u get in contact with me.
Could someone suggest a good doctor and clinic that will prescribe the goods.
Need to find a "good" pain management clinic. In "good" I mean a doctor who is compasionate, knowledgeable, sympathetic and doesn't discriminate based on age. I am 33 years old and have been going to a pain management clinic for the last 3 years. The doctor retired and disappeared without notice. I am prescribed high dosage narcotics for my back problems. I spoke with Tier One and they want me to come in on Monday. I have all of the necessary documentation (several mri's, xray, ct scans etc). I don't want to spend $400 and get ripped off. Does anyone go to Tier One or know of any other pain management clinics that could help? I am willing to travel anywhere in the North East TN area. If you reply to my post in a derogatory manner you are waisting your time. All I need is info/help with finding a good doctor that is sympathetic. Thank you.
