I see a family doctor in a very small town. The meds are no longer working and thinking about going to a psychologist. I am so bad now I can hardly leave my house. It's gotten so bad I rarely visit family members. My husband does all the shopping for the household needs. I really need help but have no insurance. Where can I go for help?

Hello, Anne! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having.
You may want to try asking your doctor if they know of a low-income place that they can refer you to.
Another idea would be to check with the social work department of your nearest major hospital. They usually have a list of resources to help people that are in your situation.
What medications are you on?
