Need Help Finding Pain Mgmt Doctor Who Can Dispense 30 Mg Roxicodone

recently been in car accident just got mri and xray completed legitimately need help finding doctors in essx county NJ dispensing 30 mg roxicodone freely. clinical indication low back and left foot pain history of motor vehicle accident any leads contact or information email {edited for privacy} thanks :(

Hello, Slim! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.

Unfortunately, there so no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you.

The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

And most doctors aren't going to let you go in and just pick the pain medication you want and the dosage. They tend to view that as being drug seeking behavior. You'll have to set up an appointment, make sure they get a copy of your medical records, go to the appointment and then discuss your treatment options.

Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

i have a long time doctor that ive been seeing for yrs since a baby but havent seen in a while .. you think that if i speak to my primary doctor i can quickly seek pain management consultation through his reference with my current documents of previous pain history ? i mean i am going thru med treatment right now in chiropractic care , but the process to get directed to a pain clinic from them is excruciatingly painful right now ..they gave me muscle relaxers and weak meds ....im hurt :(

Yes, it couldn't hurt to ask your PCP and see if they can get you in with someone faster.

Yes i finaally found one they started me out with vicodin now but ill be back soon theyre talking about injection im refusing i wamt meds

My is Paul I was recently discharged from my doctor for not coming in on the day I was supposed Joe I was supposed to bring my pills in but I never could get in to see the doctor I was not in town when I went in on my date that I was supposed to go out on they discharge me I have been on oxycodone 13 years now I have all types of problems my nerve endings my back my spine my stomach my kidney failure I cannot function or get out of bed I'm having a very hard time finding a doctor to prescribe me my meds

I live in Monterey, CA. and I've been seeing the same Pain Management Doctor for 4-5 years. He has me on the best regiment that I have ever been on!! I have 2 herniated discs in my back and 1 bulging disc in my neck due to 2 severe motor vehicle accidents. Other Doctors tried everything, all kinds of different meds without success. I currently take 100mg of MS Contin and 30mg of Oxycodone IR. Having a time release med along with a as needed med has worked the BEST!!! Along with these meds, I also due physical therapy, at home exercises, has worked greatly! I feel in more control of my pain the past 4-5 yrs than I ever did in my life. He also did trigger point injections and nerve blocking shots without success. Unfortunately this Doctor is no longer practicing and I've been forced to find a new one that will provide me with these meds, and I'm very open minded to slowly tapering down. My family practitioner was kind enough to help me with the medication until I find a Doctor to take over. Otherwise I would of had to go to the E.R. due to the severity of the withdrawals because of the strength of the meds.Because I haven't found the right Doctor he is forced to start tapering me off until I'm completely off the meds. My family practitioner helped because he knows I'm a good guy and I haven't abused my meds. But his hands are now tied so I'm in desperate need of a pain management Doctor here in the Monterey Bay - Monterey County!! I'm looking for a pain management Doctor that will prescribe these meds even if we slowly taper down to a dose he/she is comfortable with and that is effective. Along with the meds, I would also like to do physical therapy, along with my home exercises regiment. It's hard to find a Doctor that understands the pain you're in and is willing to work with you. I've had to resort to using this site, I'm not one to disclose medical information on the internet but this is how desperate I am and needing a Doctor to help me with these issues while using this remarkable regiment I've been on. I do not want to wind up in the hospital with deadly withdrawal symptoms. I've been told by my Pharmacist and Doctor alike the severity of the withdrawals due to the dosing I'm on. Cold turkey is not an option. Please, if anyone knows of a successful Doctor that practices like this I will be forever thankful so I can get on with my life. Forever Grateful!!
