Hello, Bella! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.
However, all doctors are going to lecture you and want to get to the root of what's causing your pain and explore solutions, before resorting to prescribing such a medication. It would be irresponsible of them to do otherwise and they'd risk losing their license to practice medicine, as well as fines and jail time.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Due to the new regulations that have been put in place, you'll also need to see a specialist to have such a medication prescribed, a general practice physician won't be able to prescribe it for you.
Do you haver a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone?
Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?
