My doctor retired. Looking for Dr. or DO in Portland Maine area to treat chronic pain.

Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist for long-term ongoing treatment of chronic pain.

Have you found a new PCP, yet? Having one that can refer you to someone would likely be the easiest way to get the help you need.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Does anyone else know of a good doctor in that area?
