was getting methadone at clinic but they wont take medacare need doctor in reno nv help

Hi, Andrew! Sorry about the problem that you're having.

However, a private physician isn't allowed to prescribe Methadone for addiction treatment. Even if that's not why you were going to the clinic, that is what it will be listed as in your medical records, so no doctor can prescribe it for you.

Doctors that aren't trained to use it for addiction treatment can only prescribe it for pain.

Have you tried to see if there are other clinics in your area that accept Medicare?
